Join us for the Opening Splash, part of our open water endurance series! The race reverses the iconic Eyebright Mile, starting at Tahunanui Beach and finishing at the yacht club ramp. For a shorter challenge, the 600m option begins at Richardson St Steps and also finishes at the yacht club.

Race Day Schedule:
9:15 am: Check-in opens
10:00 am: Check-in closes (no late entries or check-ins)
10:10 am: Race briefing (ALL swimmers must be out of the water and ready)
10:15 am: Long course race start
*10:45 am: Short course start (approx., from Richardson St Steps)
Race Options:

Long Course: 2km open water swim
Short Course: 600m open water swim
