Bring along your favourite teddy and enjoy a picnic with whanau and friends.

Beloved children's performer Kath Bee will be headlining the entertainment alongside other local acts. Interactive fun for the kids will include face painting, a tea party with Faerie Lou and bug-viewing with the crew from the Brook Waimarama Sanctuary. Professional storyteller Roger Sanders will be mesmerising the crows with this stories of old.

There will be a Teddy Bear School where your teddy can learn their ABC's, and a Teddy Bear Hospital for any bear needing care. To celebrate 150 years of Nelson City Council we will be offering cream scones to go with your picnic as well as a very special prize for the best loved or oldest bear!

Bring a picnic, hat and sunscreen. This venue is wheelchair accessible. Alcohol free and smoke free event.
