Nelson's central city New Year's Eve Countdown is a great place to celebrate your way into 2025!
This family-friendly event kicks off at 6pm with fun and entertainment for the kids in 1903 Square at the top of Trafalgar Street, culminating in a kids' countdown at 9pm. Then, as the younger audience heads for home, a brilliant line-up of local and national bands takes to the stage to help us party our way into 2025.
Featuring some of your favourite local bands - Solace, Finesse and DJ Jack followed by Parallel Park - then welcome in the New Year with DJ/MC trio, DJ Xandra, Jinja Cat and Soulti. Midnight pyrotechnics kindly sponsored by Combat Pyrotechnics Nelson.
