Nelson is the next port of call for the America’s Cup trophy.
As part of the Toyota Kiwi Cup Tour, the hefty piece of silverware will go on public display at the Nelson Yacht Club this Saturday, 7 September from 4pm to 5.30pm.
The public are welcome to take selfies with the trophy.
It will then be moved to the Boathouse for a ticketed function aimed at raising funds for the yacht club to address earthquake problems in its building.
