Serious crash near Atawhai Drive

A two-vehicle crash has closed State Highway 6 near Atawhai Drive and one person has been seriously injured.

A police spokesperson says the crash involved a car and a motorbike and was reported just before 11.30am on Wednesday morning.

Diversions are in place and motorists are advised to expect delays.
