Downed power line closes SH6 Brightwater

A fallen power line has closed the main route between Brightwater and Richmond.
A power line has blocked State Highway 6 between Lord Rutherford Rd North and Clover Road East.
A police spokesperson says a tanker hit the pole shortly before 7am. The driver was uninjured
The road has reopened but traffic will take time to clear.
