Motorcyclist 'reported to be in a critical condition'

Police say the bike rider involved in this afternoon's serious crash on Rutherford St involving a motorbike is "reported to be in a critical condition".
The incident between Nile St West and Examiner St was first reported to emergency services at around 3:30pm, and a pedestrian that was hit during the crash is also being treated for moderate injuries.
Police say enquiries to determine the cause of the crash are ongoing.
Earlier, a Nelson App reporter at the site said the crash scene was being examined by emergency services.
Nelson City Council said that traffic was detoured along Examiner St, and Nile St near the Rutherford Hotel, around the accident site.
Police say the road was expected to reopen shortly before 5pm.
