It was a good day at school for Nelson Intermediate students on Friday, who were heavily dusted in around 40kg of coloured chalk powder for their annual Colour Run.
The event is part of the school’s cross country series, providing an opportunity for youth of all abilities to have fun and be active.
Students wore white or turned their school shirts inside out for a better colour effect and looped the school field – led by Nelson Giant Liam Judd.
Then it was up the Railway Reserve before making their way down Tipahi St to the finish line.
Along the way teachers were ready and waiting to douse the Year 7 and 8 students with the colourful powder.
