Vehicle hits lamppost on Waimea Rd

A vehicle has crashed into a lamppost in Nelson South on Monday afternoon.
A police spokesperson confirmed the crash occurred near the intersection of Waimea Rd and Tukuka St at around 2.25pm.
“It appears the car is blocking a lane, and a tow is being organised. Contractors have also been called to deal with the lamppost,” they said.
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson says they responded with one ambulance that took one patient in moderate condition to Nelson Hospital.
