Two flown to hospital following crash along Neudorf Rd

Two patients are being transported to Nelson Hospital after a car crashed into a creek along Neudorf Rd, in Upper Moutere this morning.

Fire and Emergency NZ spokesperson Andrew Norris says four people were involved in the single vehicle crash that ended with a car in a creek along Neudorf Rd at about 9.30am Wednesday.

FENZ say a mother and a child were out of the vehicle upon arrival to the incident. All passengers are now out of the vehicle.

St John spokesperson Gerard Campbell says two patients have been transported to Nelson Hospital by helicopter.

One patient was said to be in a serious condition with the other sustaining moderate injuries.

The Nelson Marlborough Rescue Helicopter landed at the scene just after 10am.
