The crowd is pouring in ahead of the return of the Black Caps to local soil.
The Black Caps play Bangladesh as one of two ODIs in the coming days.
Having won the toss, the home-side elected to bowl at Saxton Oval ahead of the first ball at 11am.
With local boy Josh Clarkson in the mix again for his second cap, conditions are perfect for some international cricket in the heart of Nelson.
The match looks to be on track to be a sell-out with not a lot of seating space left.
