Learner driver crashes into house

A learner driver was given a memorable lesson this afternoon after crashing into a house on Annesbrook Dr.

A witness says she was driving east on Annesbrook Dr as the learner driver pulled out of Parkers Rd and T-boned her.

"He didn't see me and smashed me right on the driver's side, he went through a fence and damaged the piles of the house."

The woman says both she and the young male driver were shaken following the collision but were uninjured.

"He was quite upset and most apologetic."

The woman's car suffered minor damage to the driver's door.

A number of people stopped to check on the two parties.

Police say towing was arranged for one of the cars.
