Dozens of highly detailed model railways are on exhibition this weekend, showcasing all the hobby has to offer.
From the smallest model trains ever built, which have just three millimeter wide tracks, to giant displays, there's something for every train enthusiast from the weekend.
Open on Saturday until 4pm and again on Sunday from 10am-4pm, at Warne Stadium on Songer St, the exhibition features some of the best models from around the South Island.
Hosted biennially, this year's edition of the exhibition showcases a wide array of the hobby, from Lego and steam punk variants to the more traditional scenery.
Tickets are $10 for an adult and $5 for a child, with family and weekend passes available. There are also vendors on site selling any and everything you need to take your own model railway to the next level.
