LEWIS, Charles Bernard “Bernie”

Passed peacefully at Ernest Rutherford on Thursday 6^th March 2025, aged 96 years. 

Dearly loved husband of Deci, father and father-in-law of Sally and Trevor Mackenzie, and Stuart and Heather Lewis.  Loved Grandad of Dylan, Sam, Kirsty, and Michael, and great grandfather to 5 great grandchildren. 

Heartfelt thanks to the Ernest Rutherford staff and Nelson Hospital for their care of Bernie. 

A service to celebrate Bernie’s life will be held on Monday 10^th March at Shone and Shirley, 164 Tahunanui Drive, Nelson at 2pm.  For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed via www.shoneandshirley.co.nz/tributes where you can also leave a message for family.
