Delays on motorway

Slight delays can be expected on Whakatu Drive after the front tyre of a log truck blew out on the section of road.

A police spokesperson says the log truck stopped and was blocking half the North-bound lane between Richmond and Nelson.

Traffic is still flowing, but is moving slowly. There were no injuries.

Traffic control and police are on scene to assist.
