Suspected arson after early morning car fire

An early morning car fire in Stoke is being investigated by police.

Police say they were made aware of the fire along Rosaline Frank St, Stoke at 12.47am on Wednesday.

Fire and Emergency NZ were on the scene and say no one was in or around the car upon arrival.

Police say the car fire is being treated as suspicious and an investigation is underway.
