Crash closes SH7 near Hanmer

A crash involving a car towing a caravan has closed SH7 near Hanmer Springs.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Lewis Pass Rd, west of Hanmer Springs Rd around 10.20 Thursday morning.

A police spokesperson says there are no reported injuries however the road is completely blocked and traffic is unable to pass.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area or expect delays.
